Residents & Families are Saying

Ashley Gardens Of Bremerton was the first assisted living community in the country to recognize the need for special programming that would be focused on residents with advanced dementia. Under the leadership of Life Enrichment Director Janet Presley, the Namaste Care Program I developed has provided meaningful activities for residents who could no longer participate in “traditional” activities…

Thanks to Ashley Gardens for the love and care they showed and especially to you, Crystal. Joe was a wonderful husband, dad, and papa, and he will be missed more than words can say.
Moving to the Willows has brought my blood pressure down to 135/60 from 180/ER? Which has reduced my fear of a stroke.
Colleen, Resident
There are two ladies works as “housekeepers” at the Willows. To me, they are much more than just “housekeepers”, although they do their job excellent as such. I personally believe, as do Rasty (my little friend) they offer a service along with housekeeping which excels them far and above others. This, as I have noticed does not interfere or slows them down performing their regular chores. It enhances their relationship with residents in this wonder community, as it has with Rasty and myself.

Harry Sprinkle, Resident
Dear Ashley Gardens Staff –

Thank you for the hugs and concern for myself, my daughter and mom. You guys are wonderful and much appreciated. With sincere thanks

I wanted to send you both a huge thank you that you can share with your staff. Last night my Dad (Harry Sprinkle) was having chest pains and my mom called 911 for assistance.

I wanted to thank your staff for going above and beyond! I received a phone call from someone on your staff (I’m so sorry that I don’t remember the lovely lady’s name) to let me know that Mom had called 911, that Dad decided to not be transported, but if indeed he kept hurting and needed to call again that the ambulance would transport him to the hospital.

To Sheryl and Staff –

I don’t know where to begin to tell you all how much you have been to myself and my family over the past four and a half years. When my mom entered Ashley Gardens on January 20, 2006. I would have never dreamed that this was the beginning of a journey that would lead me to where I am today. You have all been a very special part of my life that I will never forget. Each of you have given so much of yourselves to my parents and others that is so much appreciated.

Wonderful Ashley Staff –

It has meant so much to me to have Mom cared for my such loving, giving and happy people – and I too, have felt welcome during my visits with Dad & by myself. I felt part of the family and enjoyed your company, as well as Moms. I loved that you told me when Mom was telling you off, or laughing or talking. It made me feel she was still there, somewhere. Bless you all.
